David R. Perry is a singer/songwriter from LaPlata, Maryland. A veteran of the United States Naval Submarine Force, David started his music career in the church and school choirs at the age of 8. He performed in several musicals for the Theatre Port Tobacco Players Inc., in his hometown. After his Naval service ended he attended Rowan University and played in several local popular bands. He recorded 5 albums with these bands before going solo. David has four older sisters and 3 children. He recorded his debut solo album at Yackland Studio in Nashville TN, produced and engineered by Stephen Leiwcke. David’s many original songs are inspired from life experiences, relationships, and lessons of his life’s journey. His music has been described as soulful, filled with passion and emotion. David will be returning to Nashville to record an acoustic album in 2023 at Yackland Studio. You can find more information and his music on his website.
